Slava also has a great appreciation for the psychological benefits of physical therapy, and loves getting to know and connecting with the patients that he works with. While studying at Hunter, Slava completed clinical affiliations in a variety of settings including acute care and sub-acute rehabilitation at NYU Lutheran Medical Center, as well as outpatient care at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. These valuable experiences guided him into finding his passion for the outpatient orthopedic setting, where he plans to grow and build his career for the foreseeable future.
Outside of the clinic, Slava enjoys finding new music to listen to, rooting for his New York Giants, playing basketball and handball in Queens, where he resides, and grabbing dinner with family and friends.
