Alvin Dike

Dr. Alvin Dike started his academic career at the State University of New York at Potsdam where he received his B.S. in Biology.  During that time, Alvin was named captain of the Men’s Basketball Team and was a Ronald E. McNair Scholar recipient.

Alvin possesses a strong interest in manual physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and sports rehabilitation.  He understands the value of maintaining his commitment to learning by being active in continuing education courses. Alvin is a Board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Additionally, Alvin holds his certification in both: The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Active Release Techniques (ART).

Alvin is an avid weight lifter, runner, and is involved in various basketball tournaments throughout New York City. Having overcome a knee injury himself, Alvin understands the importance of returning to a sport post-injury stronger and in better shape.
